Say HI! to our Cats!

Cats 

Romeo and Sebastian were rescued in Owosso, Michigan in 2005 by a Meridian employee.  They were hungry and cold and needed a place to stay.  They lived at the shop full time for a couple years and got used to people coming and going so they are very friendly.  Sebastian loves to sit on laps and Romeo just likes to be around people.  Currently they travel back and forth from the shop to Jim’s house, where they sleep so they don’t get lonely at night.

Their favorite places to nap at the shop are side by side in two customer chairs, on the cabinets overlooking the shop, on top of the copier or in the “incoming orders” tray.  When they aren’t sleeping they continue to earn their keep as the role of shop exterminators.  We have been mouse free since their arrival. 

Sebastian gets into his fair share of trouble.  He stepped into a bucket of blue ink once and we had to have him shaved in order to get it all off!  Another time he went on a three month vacation.  We were very worried, but with the help of the Ingham County Animal Shelter we ended up finding him at a wonderful foster home between his evening home and his day time job (the shop).

Both cats are very tolerant and allow us to even dress them up on occasion without too much complaint.  We just can’t resist snapping cute pictures of them.  See for yourself below!
